Born on July 22, 1981 in Tehran, Iran.
He is graduated from Television National School on the field of Drama in 1999. In the same year, he enrolled in Islamic Azad University, Tehran Branch in the field of Drama and in 2004 he was graduated from the same university and received his bachelor’s degree. He started his work in 1998 as cameraman of a few short films. In 2000 the short film named “Death is My Trade” won the Special Jury Award in Iranian Youth Cinema Festival. In 2000 he was cameraman in his first movie named “Chaleh”. In 2008 and for the first time his movie was shown in important international festivals. In 2001, he was cameraman in the movie named “Waiting for a Miracle” Directed by Rasul Sadr Ameli who is one of master and well-known directors in Iran; this movie was a turning poin in Morteza’s career…
